Inspired by S-Que’s own experience of losing his apartment while chasing music in Johannesburg, the song captures the moment when a once-friendly relationship with his landlord becomes strictly business. Rendered homeless in a city far from home, S-Que cries out to his mother as he confronts the cost of pursuing something bigger.

For anyone who has ever left home with a dream, struggled to stay afloat, and wondered whether to keep going.
