NORMVL is rebellious, it’s a response. One motivated by a rejection of society’s cookie-cutter approach to it’s prescribed and often imposed standards of what it means to be “normal” and “weird”.

NORMVL’s response focuses on 2 things:

1. The dismissal of the notion that everyone’s ideas of “normal” and “weird” are the same, and…
2. The empowerment of freedom of expression informed by one’s individuality and unique story.

NORMVL speaks to the community of individuals. It can be paradoxical, passive-aggressive and ironic. It’s a statement, a whispered “fuck you” to those who impose on the basis of “this is how things are normally done”. NORMVL thrives on doubt, declines the one-way-only approach, believes deeply in the alternative, values deep expertise, exists in the imagination while keeping one foot in reality and loves to get its hands dirty.
